Designer for projects in the Innovation and Advanced Technology group

• Product designer and team lead for a new mobile application called Sidewalk, which allows users to find business recommendations from their personal network. Designed for iOS and Android.
• Designer and developer for a voice-controlled, connected device prototype for small business owners to get notifications and easily access their Quickbooks data.

iOS Developer and Product Designer | Intuit | April 2014 – September 2014    

Developer on a multidisciplinary team of 5 people tasked with creating a new product for Mint.com

• Conducted user research and lean experiments to determine what to build.
• Worked on a team of 3 developers to build a web app and native iOS app. 
• Worked closely with the team’s designer to design and develop the primary interactions in the app as well as the first time use to teach these interactions. 

iOS Developer | Intuit | August 2013 – March 2014    

Developer for the Quickbooks iOS app

• Built the on-boarding flow for Quickbooks users logging in to the mobile app for the first time. 

Software Developer | Expedia | Summer 2012

Developer for internal tools for travel agents

• Worked to design and implement a proof of concept project for a tool to help call center agents more quickly learn about changes to the software they use.

Teaching Assistant | JHU Center for Talented Youth | Summer 2011

Curriculum designer and teacher for evening lab sessions

• Taught basic computer science concepts and python programming to middle school students in a Fundamentals of Computer Science course.
